Have you ever experienced difficulties when applying press-on nails? Using adhesive tabs makes it easy to change press-ons but is not long-lasting while using glue is durable but can be difficult to remove and leaves residue on the nails.
Our solid gel adhesive is the answer to these issues. It can securely bond press-on for weeks and can be easily removed with a small stick when it’s time to change your press-on. The best part is that the cured gel can be peeled off the nail without leaving any trace which allows you to reuse your press-on, which is typically not possible with regular gel adhesive.
Please note that solid color nails may hinder the curing process of the gel. In such cases, we recommend using adhesive tabs or glue instead. To check if your nails are suitable for the gel adhesive, simply hold them up to a light source. If they are translucent, then they are good to use. Limegirl solid nail tip gel has a semisolid viscosity designed to provide you with ultimate control and coverage during application. This thick viscosity will also add a ‘cushioning’ action to your bond, improving durability, flexibility, and longevity to ensure 3 weeks of wear with no lifting, peeling, or separation.
HOW TO USE: Apply a pea-sized amount of Limegirl Solid Nail Tip Gel to the soft gel tip’s underside contact area. Apply the soft gel tip to the nail in a rolling motion to avoid bubbles. Begin firmly from the cuticle area and apply consistent pressure to the free edge. Ensure a tight fit from side to side that completely covers the nail grooves. Remove any excess. Cure all five fingers for 120 seconds after flash curing for 5 seconds.
Store in a dark place.
WARNING: Keep out of children’s reach. Skin contact should be avoided. If you notice any redness or other signs of an allergic reaction, stop using it right away. If you come into contact with your eyes, flush with water and seek medical attention. Seek medical attention if you have swallowed something.
I love this solid nail glue. It's comfortable, the adhesive is easy to work with. It's not stick or messy like other ones I work with. This one is my favorite. Also... it lasts a few weeks. Absolutely love it!
I’ve been using this glue for almost a year and it took a bit of trial and error to figure out how to make it work. On its own, this glue makes the application process so much easier than normal gel nail glue, but it will only lasts a week at most. Within days I’d have nails popping off. This glue recommends using a base coat, but instead now I just use normal gel nail glue as a base coat. I use two layers of that on each hand and apply it like nail polish and cure each layer. I prefer the beetles gel nail glue. Also make sure to buff your nails before applying the glue as a base coat. And when you apply the nails don’t push the nail all the way to the cuticle, leave a small space between so you can blend the nail into your natural nail. With this method and this glue my nails easily last 3-4 weeks and I get to continue using this glue to apply the nails which makes the application process SO quick, easy, and mess free. It’s usually by the mid/late 3rd week I notice any lifting at all. I’m giving this glue 5 stars bc it truly is amazing with the right base.
Everything about this product is great. My only beef was that it was tricky to figure out how to get it off. I ended up peeling it off after soaking off the gel-x tips (base layer of gel kept my nails safe). That being said, it could be user error.
I’ve been using this solid glue to apply full cover tips since December of 2023. Honestly, I won’t use anything else — this glue is so easy to work with and when properly applied, they stay on FOREVER.
I am not gentle with my hands whatsoever; I use scalding hot water regularly, wash dishes by hand daily at home, playing with my dogs, etc. and being someone who prefers 4-5XL length, I rely on the glue to not disgrace me by popping off too early. This glue has kept my nails on for over a month at one point, no lifting or popping off at all. My current set is on week 3.5, also no lifting. If I didn’t want to change shape and color for an upcoming event, I could honestly keep them on another week.
Soaking off is easy as well. I cut the extension as short as I can without nicking skin, use an e-file to remove polish and excess bulk from the extension and just file until there’s a thin enough layer. And then I just soak in a soak off bowl for 20 minutes each hand and it’s done.
Overall, this is definitely a must have for me. I’m not a professional and only do my own nails (I refuse to do other peoples nails because I am not licensed and that would be unethical), so I’m sure that attributes to how long the product has lasted me. I am just now having to order another (4 months!) and even with the remaining gel in the container I have now, I could squeeze another set in. 100000/10.
As a diy nail girl I’ve tired so many nail glues, this glue is by far the best I’ve found! With proper nail prep I have my sets last me about 4 weeks! Working in healthcare I’m constantly washing my hands but wanted some length so I don’t bite my nails and this has held up to the best of it!
This stuff is so cool. Reminds me of play dough. Not sticky & I love that u don’t need much to hold on nails & gemstones. Does not irritate skin.
It wasn’t easy to remove but I’ll still use it over nail glue. I loved that my nails stayed on until I decided to take off, whereas nail glue that doesn’t hold long.
This solid glue is what I've been waiting for! Forget the cheap super glue and stickers that come with press ons, this is what you need. It stuck well and I wore my nails for a week. I'd given up on press ons because they usually start coming off same day on me, so this was a big deal. Easy to remove and the nails, if you are careful can be reused. Great purchase.
I’m happy with this glue. It takes a bit of practice as to how much to use. No more gluing my fingers together, it has no smell, and pretty easy to use. First application was with kiss brand nails. I had to reapply two but after that they lasted two weeks until I got tired and wanted a change. I gently peeled them off. No soaking needed. Second application was with cheaper press ons . did have to reapply six of them. Maybe it’s just the cheaper nails but they’re staying put. Would definitely recommend.
My clients are obsessed with this glue and so am I. 3-D designs is all thats in right now in the nail industry. This product takes the win. I've always like marakatt with their nail glue, but this takes the win by complete. Its very easy to use, shape, and place, It lasts maximum a month and a half for me which was my longest client and it did not move at all! Definetely recommend to all my nail techs out there its the best.
It’s a good thickness when making the 3D flowers, and it isn’t messy, just easy to get dirty, so make sure you don’t have lint or anything on your gloves our hands.
I was so excited to try this! I've always had troubles applying full cover tips with regular glue gel because it's so runny. This solid glue gel is absolutely PERFECT for applying full cover tips! I also used it to encapsulate glitter to the underside of the tips for some beautiful glass nails. I was hoping the color would be a little darker pink, but it just looks clear and mostly colorless once you get it on the nail. I'm definitely going to be purchasing more colors though! Very good, easy to use product! When you apply tips with this, it doesn't slide around, no bubbles, you can adjust to get them on perfectly straight, it's easy to use a cuticle stick to clean up anything that pushes out around the cuticles (which wasn't much!), and it stays crystal clear after curing.
I’m so glad I didn’t listen to the bad reviews about the nails popping off in 1-2 days of application. Reading and following the application instructions is KEY. This product WILL NOT work as intended without a cured base coat first. Which is mentioned as a crucial step above. Another plus side to this solid gel is being able to get the nail positioned perfectly before curing. I feel like solid gel is good for beginners like myself. My nails have lasted 2+ weeks and only started lifting because my nail grew out very fast.
Okay I loveeeee this solid nail glue for gel x SO MUCH I can do my whole hand and then cure it which is sooooo much faster than the gel x glue I was using from the bottle . Also helped me no have any crooked nails bc I can adjust them and they stay in place with out being cured ! The only problem I’m having is the soak off. I swear I read that it was soft gel so I’m not sure why my acetone isn’t working. I kind of had to peel the glue off which isn’t good for the natural nail. I tired to edible them down but the consistency off the glue make it SOOOO HARD to file off none of my nail bits were even close to shaving it down ? If anyone knows what I’m doing wrong please let me know lol because I love this stuff! My nails lasted 4 full weeks which does not happen with the traditional gel x glue
The first time I used this, it was for French tip nails with a sheer/light pink base and white tips. The nail glue worked like a dream! So easy to apply and they stayed on with absolutely no issues for over a week. The second time I was not so lucky. I tried black nails with one hot pink nail. The pink ones stayed on fine, but the black ones just peeled right off. The packaging does say darker colors need to cure longer, but these didn’t cure even after 5+ minutes of UV light (typically you only need 60-90 seconds). So I took off all the black and tried all hot pink. Slightly better results, but it still took multiple cure sessions, and I’ve had to replace 3 nails so far. I’ll keep using it for lighter colors but I do not recommend using on dark colors. It’s very messy if it doesn’t cure properly. Note: You do need to make sure to use a base of clear gel polish and cure that before putting on the glue and nails. 9 people found this helpful
